The BillT Industries pnp standalone engine ecu and ecu harness can be used on numerous applications utilizing the microsquirt ecu. Being standalone from the vehicles wiring, our turn key kits can fire an engine up in or out of the vehicle, even on an engine stand. Just hook up a battery and fuel pump and you’ll be up and running in no time.

For the cis crowd, who this kit was originally designed for, cis fuel lines, injectors and fuel distributor can be removed. The original fuel pump is sill used and the accumulator can stay in line or be removed as well. The cis/cise/cism o2 sensor box/knock box, ignition control module and wiring can all be unplugged and removed. The factory air box (which is very restrictive on most applications) can either stay with the flapper plate only removed or be completely removed to get some impressive midrange hp/tq gains. And for all of you guys wanting to make power (na, turbo, supercharged, or nitrous) or have old cis turbo kits/callaway cars, these kits come ready to party being boost ready and Flex E85 compatible (4bar map, 440-925cc Injectors).

How does it work? Using a microsquirt ecu engines can be setup using batch fire injection with a traditional hall effect sensor distributor for the fueling and timing events. Most engine setups will be compatible in this form with a non mechanical advance locked distributor (VW 8v, 16v, Volvo, Audi, Porsche and many others). Engines with a points style ignition will be converted over to a Pertronix electric point pickup. A standard 60-2, 36-1 or any other type of internal or external trigger wheel is not required with the exception of very certain make/models. The microsquirt ecu though can also use crank trigger and cam trigger wheels as well for fuel and traditional ignition, waste spark or sequential/cop ignition.

The microsquirt ecu can run on the very basic of sensor data (map, ect, iat). Tps is not required, but the wiring and option to add it on is always there along with many other sensors (maf, baro, fuel psi, oil psi, flex E85). It also has the capability to use different dash modules like a racepak or other data inquisition via canbus communication.

Our kits come over built from the start. Why spend money on small injectors and map sensors to only spend the money again when you want more power. We use high quality AC Delco, Bosch and Innovate motorsport sensors and Siemens Deka or Bosch injectors from our local supplier Marren Fuel Injection. No china copies or decapped/redrilled junk. All injectors are flow tested/matched/paired and come with a data/flow sheet. Kits come standard with Ac Delco 4 bar map sensor (43psi of boost) and depending on app 870cc Siemens or 925cc Bosch injectors. Plenty of injector for guys that want to run E85. We include enough 10ga wire as well to directly feed the fuel pump right from the relay (which gets power directly from the battery). Feed your fuel pump all the voltage.

The harness in our kits is 8ft long and each sensor wire length is the same. You can move tuck or hide the ecu and wiring practically anywhere.

What is a Microsquirt??

 

The Microsquirt ECU is a budget friendly standalone ecu that is fully tunable by the end user on numerous different engine combinations. It is very compact in size and a very basic ecu packed full of features.

The versatile MicroSquirt ECU Version 3.0 is an ECU plus much more – Standalone Engine Management System, Transmission Controller or CAN I/O Expansion Module (alternate functionality requires firmware change)

MicroSquirt ECU is a entry-level, fully assembled ECU with varied applications targeting power sport and single cylinder all the way up to 8 cylinders with up to 2 fuel and 4 spark outputs. Over 40 different ignition modes are supported from mainstream applications like GM LS1, Ford Zetec, Bosch Motronic, and Chrysler Gen III Hemis to unusual modes like Renix Jeep and the Suzuki Swift GTI.

Microsquirt I/O Box firmware allows you to use a Microsquirt as a plug’n’play I/O extension box for MS3 or MS3Pro ECUs. It can offer a useful I/O addition:
